Cristian Hinojosa is a brother firefighter at Station 28. He’s been with the DFD as a Paramedic driver/engineer since 2005. Cristian and his wife Sara are the very proud parents of 5 month old Little Max Hinojosa. Max is bravely fighting a big battle with Leukemia. The Hinojosa’s need our prayers and our help.
Dallas Firefighters will be on the streets again this spring for our annual MDA Fill the Boot Campaign. This year's effort will mark the 60 year anniversary of the relationship between the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Firefighters, which began in 1954.
This year's Fill the Boot Campaign will have an extra special meaning for Dallas Firefighters, as we work to help one of our own.
The DFFA and DFD have had a relationship with Denton State School for over 50 years, but the Denton State School Days at Six Flags have come to an end.
The clients are aging, and so is the transportation that the facility has to bring them to Six Flags. The staff advises that it is just not feasible to make the trip any longer.
